I still have so much pain in the scars on the left side which is disheartening, but overall I am now happier with the results. I had a breast reduction with Dr. Mason.  While the sides where she did lipo did look reduced, my actual breasts never looked that much smaller.  I did end up losing 25 pounds which helped later.  My disappointment is with my nipples.  They look so bad that I am embarrassed to be seen naked now.  One is completely puckered/indented on one side.  I had discussed fixing it with them and I reached out to them to try to schedule through their portal and they never responded to me.  I will probably try to find another doctor at this point to fix it.  The doctor did seem to be a nice, kind person when she did my surgery and she did find a breast doctor to remove the benign tumor I had before she did the reduction (at the same time).

I am only about three weeks out from surgery so I haven’t realized my full results yet however I cannot say enough, good things about this facility. Every single person who works there is helpful,  compassionate and communicative. Dr. Mason’s bedside manner is exceptional. She and her staff walked me through every aspect of the process ensuring I had realistic expectations. Dr. Mason was also very careful to ask probing questions and listen to my response to ensure she was giving me exactly what I wanted Not what she thought I should have. I had no complications thus far and very little pain. From Madison to Genesis and Kara, and the rest of the team I was very well taken care of. I opted to stay over in the surgical facility for peace of mind and I’m glad I did. Tiara looked after me very well and she had a fantastic disposition. She kept a very close eye all night and helped me walk often to ensure I began healing from the get go. Because I’ve not seen my full results yet, I can say that my absolute favorite part is the lymphatic massages with Arlene. I had my consultation for a breast reduction on 12/11/25, and I was approved by insurance within six days. Dr. Mason and her staff were extremely patient and answered all of my questions, whether in person or over the phone. My procedure was on 3/2/26, and the recovery process has been great so far. I’ve even received follow-up calls from Dr. Mason and her team after surgery, which I really appreciated. On the day of surgery, Dr. Mason and her team walked my mom and me through everything before the procedure started, which made me feel very comfortable and prepared. I’m so happy with the results. The final payment is due at the time of your pre-op appointment. My only issue was that it took the staff a little while to give me an accurate final amount. Also, you may have to pay a deductible for the anesthesiologist, and I didn’t find out how much that would be until the day of surgery. The Dermal Injectable Process

Dermal Injectables are performed in the Charleston office, and no sedation or general anesthesia is required. Although they are not painless, they are very well tolerated, and most people don’t require an additional local anesthetic.

When you go in for a Botox treatment, Dr. Mason will examine your face to decide the best areas to treat. She cleans your skin and then uses tiny needles to inject the liquid into the exact spots you need. The whole procedure takes only a few minutes!

Meanwhile, with Dermal Fillers, Dr. Mason will cleanse your skin in the areas you have decided to treat. If needed, she will administer a local anesthetic. However, most of the time, this is unnecessary, and the filler itself has a local anesthetic in it. She will use small needles or a cannula, depending on your particular procedure.

The filler is injected into the tissue that needs to be filled. She will “mold” it by pressing on your skin with her finger if necessary. The procedure usually takes a few minutes to half an hour, depending on how many areas you have decided to treat with injectables.

Recovering From Botox Or Dermal Fillers

Botox injections actually do not have immediate results. It takes several days to take effect, so do not fear when you see no difference after leaving the office!

As it begins to work, you may find that it works faster in some areas than others. Be patient. You will see the full effect you desire in two weeks or less. Depending on you and which brand of Botulinum toxin you use, results will generally last about 3-6 months.

Meanwhile, areas treated with fillers often become very swollen for about the first two weeks after the procedure. Once this resolves, you will see a lasting result. Depending on the filler you receive, it may attract water, making the appearance continue to smooth and improve over time. Dermal fillers last between 6 months and 2 years, depending on which you use.
